Validate and prepare JSON for API work
Separate syntax checks, schema rules, transport encoding and tabular conversion.
Fix syntax first
Strict JSON requires double-quoted names and strings, balanced brackets, valid commas and no comments or undefined values.
Check the contract separately
A formatter proves parseable syntax, not required fields, allowed values or API semantics. Apply the API schema after parsing succeeds.
Minify only at the boundary
Readable formatting helps review and version control. Minification saves whitespace but is not a substitute for HTTP compression.
Encode the correct component
Base64 and URL encoding solve transport representation problems; neither provides encryption or access control.
